Our history of producing components for the heavy automotive industry in USA, UK, Europe and Australia, is further proof of capability, as we meet their rigorous requirements for tight tolerances and consistent quality.

We apply quality procedures at every step in our integrated manufacturing process.

Our inspectors personally check every production run against these rigorous criteria, both for our own steel foundry and for every additional casting process and finishing in our partner network.

Manufacture and Quality Inspection

A ‘Control Plan’ (or a more extensive PPAP – Parts Production Approval Process; in the case of automotive customers) is created at the sampling time and documents every detail of the part, inspection processes, as well as the specific tests to be carried out in production.

Core Inspection testing includes;

  • Chemical properties
  • Mechanical performance
  • Dimensional tests

Further optional inspection can be done if required by the process, part or client, such as;

  • Ultrasound
  • X-ray
  • Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT)
  • Pressure Testing

Document Control

We have a cloud based document control system, which enables our engineers, factory or subcontractors to have access to the latest revision of drawings and specifications and automatically notifies them of any updates.

Inspection Process

We are in process of implementing an electronic inspection system to enable real-time inspection updates for our Quality Managers.

Logistics, Shipping and Administration

Our Glenmar logistics and customer service office in Hong Kong holds an ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management processes. They adhere to a customer service quality policy, which sets out the specific requirements for the shipping of orders, levels of customer satisfaction and goals and practices for continuous improvement.
